Primarily used to rear top quality fish for our fishing lakes the fish farm is a great place to see the fish at all different stages, from small-fry up to the Moffat Monsters.

Moffat Fishery: Enjoy fly, bait or coarse fishing in Moffat. Moffat fishery comprises of three fishing lochs which accommodate the fly, coarse and bait angler, the fishery has over 8 acres of water fed by natural springs, this ensures consistent temperatures and also excellent clarity of the loch’s enabling anglers to stalk high quality trout. The gin clear waters of Moffat fishery have helped to make Moffat Fishery one of the premier small still-waters in Scotland. At Moffat Fishery we cater for the novice to the professional with a choice of three fishing lakes and tackle hire available.

Primarily used to rear top quality fish for our fishing lakes, the fish farm is a great place to see different varieties of fish at all different stages (including rainbow, blue, golden, brook and brown tout) ranging from small fry to the legendary Moffat Monsters.

Tackle
The tackle shop at Moffat Fishery stocks a wide range of tackle, equipment and bait from manufacturers such as Greys, Shakespeare, Scierra, Lureflash and Masterline. We have a small selection of rods and reels ranging from beginner outfits to outfits for the professional. With regular offers why not visit us and see what we have to offer.

Fishing Events
